Me and Rodney ended up making a revenge chain on Art Fight, which happened because, after I drew his Rod X Swat ship with Ben, he drew me a personal revenge that was specifically drawn to represent a friendship thing that only we two knew about.
I couldn’t leave his comic (that I have attached to this comic post right after this segment) like that, so I DOUBLED DOWN and went even MORE personal.
I drew something inspired by our friendly interactions together, I drew my OC Mark – who was like a persona to me at the time – being literally high on helium, acting all stupid and vulnerable around Rod (his Skibidi persona character) inside our imaginary office!
It’s not like it is possible for someone to get literally high on helium, but back then in some conversations in voice chat that we had together, I was straight up sucking helium to spice up our conversations with tomfoolery, which somehow ended up working like social lubricant and made me feel much more comfortable with discussing stupider or more personal things (wow… like alcohol! Except not drugs! HAHA).
Rodney’s Revenge
I drew this comic after Rodney’s revenge on MY REVENGE. Yes, it was part of a CHAIN, and here’s what happened:
After Rodney saw my amazing comic Skibidi Dop Dop Yes?, he decided to step back into the fight.
He didn’t let me off the hook, and in fact decided to draw something fun and actually pretty PERSONAL:
He drew what me and him had in a friends-only Discord server called Homestead. That is a server that is structured like an imaginary office business with ranks for friends that describe what they do as if they were business ranks (like “Chief Fried Chicken Officer” etc.) and it works to bring my closest friends together and expand beyond DMs.
And Rodney leaned into the business vibe COMPLETELY, more than anyone else did in that server.
The fucker (/endearing use of word) DREW ME AS HIS BOSS IN THE IMAGINARY OFFICE. LOOK AT IT.
