This another one of my 2026 Art Fight attacks, one that I made for SMKFAN99. They are a multifandom artist who attacked me first because they liked my Blackjack character and my style.
They specifically said that my characters are cute, goofy, cool and fun, and that I have a cool aesthetic and art style, which I appreciate as someone who technically qualifies as a cartoonist artistically out of all categories of visual art.
After seeing their Art Fight profile, I noticed that they are a fan of T.U.F.F. Puppy, which is ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS EVER since I was a kid. I would watch that shit every time I caught it on Nickelodeon on TV, and I adored it.
They didn’t only like the show, but they also designed human forms for existing T.U.F.F. Puppy characters like all the villains from D.O.O.M., such as Snaptrap. They drew him like a middle aged, old-ish dude in a lab coat, with a white/grey drill sergeant hairstyle and Snaptrap’s actual fugly huge teeth (from the canon rat design).
Obviously, I got excited about our mutual excitement for T.U.F.F. Puppy, and decided to draw my first crossover comic in a long time – this isn’t my usual kind of content so I rarely draw crossovers between my original art and existing media.
For the first time in my life, I tried to copy Butch Hartman’s style to create what Markodion would have looked like if he was featured on T.U.F.F. Puppy. The lineart alone took me multiple hours of drawing to complete, but I think I nailed it.
SMKFAN99’s attack
SMKFAN99 was the first artist to have drawn Blackjack by their own will without me asking, and honestly I find it really really cute.
He is a bit caricartured and simplified, but I genuinely appreciate the gesture :)
